WELCOME!

TCPAA PURPOSE:
TCPAA was organized to promote Colored Pencil as a valid Fine Art Media. It provides a meeting place for like-minded artists and an opportunity to exchange ideas, information and technique.

ABOUT OUR GROUP:
TCPAA is a club, serving colored pencil artists since 1999. There are no dues. The group varies from 25-50 members. The group meets weekly on Tuesdays from 10 AM to 2:30 PM at the City of Tucson Sixth Ward Office at 3202 E. 1st Street (SE corner of 1st St and Anderson Blvd) to draw. TCPAA's bylaws, adopted on September 14th, 1999, dictate once monthly meetings, held the second Tuesday of the month, where majority vote decides issues concerning upcoming events. The IP address of this website is tcpaa.club.......

There are officers, chosen at the April meeting. The officers organize twice yearly workshops and gallery exhibits, keep the accounts, do the group's banking and manage the membership list.

MEETINGS:
We continue to meet at the Ward 6 Office Building at 3202 E. 1st Street from 10AM-2:30 PM. We meet in the East Conference Room rather than the Community Room. Bring your current work in progress (or finished too!), pencils and tools. We share our work, get advice as desired, learn about techniques and create.

At 1 PM on the 1st Tuesday of each month we have a business meeting. If you want to be a part of planning events for TCPAA, please make that time available to attend. Things we discuss: when to have workshops; what skills or subject matter do we want to learn and who we would like to invite to be the instructor; when and where we can have exhibitions; treasury matters, such as any donations we might like to make to charitable organizations, etc.
This is your organization and it is important that you have a forum to discuss how we function!!
